“You sing a mix of gypsy jazz, jug band blues, Western swing and honky tonk soul like your life depends on it. Must be some kind of an Austin thing....”

Get rhythm! The solid swing of Django and Bob Wills married to the story telling of a Texas singer songwriter is what makes this music unique and worth your consideration.

Palaces to prisons, TV to turkey shoots, Ed has provided music all over the world for live shows, theatre, TV, radio, movies, video and online games. His career has included "behind the scenes" work in the US and Europe as a musical director for Shakespeare theatre, sitting in with the Duke Ellington Orchestra and commercials for clients like HBO and Toyota. Influenced by pop singers like Van Morrison, bluesmen like Mose Allison and classic jazz vocalists like Percy Mayfield - he simply does not sound like anyone else you've ever heard.
Based in Austin, Texas but frequently on tour in Europe or other parts of the US, Ed typically plays solo and accompanied by a handful of assorted musical instruments. His new "South Austin Swing" album is set for release on November 1, 2019.
